What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, phone number, email address and anything you include in your message when you use our contact or survey request forms, email or call us.
- Customers: contact details, site address, site contacts and keyholders, system details, passwords or codewords used to verify you, service history and billing information needed to provide our services.
- Job applicants: your CV and the information you send us.
- Website usage: with your consent, anonymous statistics about how the site is used (via Google Analytics). Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam.

We never sell your data, and we don’t use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary: our Alarm Receiving Centre (for monitored systems), the emergency services, accreditation and certification bodies (NSI, BAFE) during audits, our IT, email delivery (SMTP2GO) and website hosting providers, Google (Analytics and reCAPTCHA), our accountants, and where the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t become customers: 12 months
- Customer and service records: for the life of the contract plus 6 years, or longer where fire and security standards require records to be retained
- Unsuccessful job applications: 6 months
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy in a portable format. Contact enquiries@jb-eye.com. If you’re unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).

CCTV
